hello peeps!
Here are some pointers to take note of for today's practice:

For woodwinds,
-work on your running notes.
-Practice your fingerings, and if possible memorize that part of the score.

For brasses,
-lower brasses rmb to play louder in order to balance the sound of the band.
-rmb to cut when there is a tie ( for memories of friendship)

For everybody,
-do not glue your eyes on your score.
-Rmb to watch and follow the conductor.
-Rmb not to breathe between bar 6 to bar 7 of Persis.
-If possible memorize your score, esp Persis.
-Watch your intonation.

I believe everybody have also realized , the band's playing has been improving. However, there are still rooms for improvement . If we continue to put in more effort, we will definitely exceed our standard now and even possible to impress the school by getting a GOLD for SYF. With that, band will have enough budget to get our aircon fixed. ^^ Dont u all miss those days where we do not have to breathe in carbon dioxide? ;)
For that, i need the attendance to improve. Right now the thing that is most fatal to our band is our attendance. Come regularly for band and practice during sectionals, Practice makes perfect. :D
